Individual Work
As an overall strategy or some kind of pre-meaning, this studio proposes a reexamination of the possibility of architectural thinking applied as an act of dual and parallel scale and augmented behaviors between architecture and health fashion. As an extension of this interest, the studio will focus more specifically on the degree to which body architecture and architecture could be interpreted as an accumulative mutation of interactions, or as having a new potential for integration.
The hypothetical client of this project is a single man who has a hobbit of peeping the other people’s life. Therefore, this fashion and house design response to the clients’ voyeurism, try to help him express himself and make the body and architecture become surveillant machine. With many cameras embedded all around the body, the client can record everything happened while also feel hidden in his “peeping suit”. The suit has several variations to adapt different weather and environment. The house is another reflection of the client’s mental world, showing his neighbors the gesture that “he is watching, and welcome to his world”. It has multiple entrances and roof terrace, which allow him to explore the space and spy on his neighbors through different levels, while also making him feel well-protected by the volume.
